How does the Far Right weaponise the Bible? In conversation with Hannah Strømmen

Hanna StrømmenGUEST
Well, the war Bible is the way I describe one of the dominant uses of the Bible that you see quite clearly in parts of the manifesto, the parts that I mentioned that are mostly contained within the third book, Christian Justification of the Struggle, and then there's a subsection about battle verses.

Hanna StrømmenGUEST
So many passages that are cited in the manifesto there pertain to war and violence.

Hanna StrømmenGUEST
For instance, 1 Samuel 25:13, which is where David calls upon, uh, his men to take up their swords for battle.

Hanna StrømmenGUEST
You get 1 Corinthians 4:20, which is where it talks about the Kingdom of God being not in talk but in power.
