In any case, I did my rock and roll fabulous book party at the coolest bookstore in the universe, Asbury Books Co-op.

It's a co-op bookstore where the staff is volunteer and they sign up to be a part of this awesome place.

It's super cool.

And I just love the energy.

Like these days, everything's about the money.

So When people are donating their time and their energy and their money for the love of books, thank God, it's an awesome thing.

And I met a killer woman, really one of the best people I've met in a long time.

And these days, honestly, I don't meet great people all the time.

I was starting to wonder if we ran out.

I mean, I used to meet great people like every day.

And now I don't know if I'm too busy or too jaded or too stuck up.

I don't know what my problem is, but I don't seem to meet great people as often.

And so when I do, all my alarm bells go off and say, here's a really cool person.

Here's a great person.

Pay attention.

Pay attention.

Don't keep walking.

Don't ignore it.

And so I met this great person.

It turned out to be the poobah of the bookstore and we hit it off.

And the next thing you know, I got invited to speak at this awesome event and a huge crowd came and lots of people I knew since high school and a whole bunch of people I never met.

And it was just a great, good, loving, laughing, joy, joy ride.
