Well, I mean, we've got so many signals that the economy, you know, may not be as reliable as people think that it is.

I mean, we've all got rose-colored glasses because the market's been going up for a really long time without a major pullback.

The pressure in the bond market reflects all of the different things going on.

I mean the geopolitical uncertainty and questions about long-term interest rates, even Treasury buyback discussions.

Listeners need to become bond traders and worry about what should I do with bonds or not.

A lot of times the average advisor, they say you take 60% of your stock's for the risky part, and you put 40% in bonds and safety.

But because of this crazy bond market, we've been actually losing money in bonds for many years now.

When I mean better, I mean if you're thinking that piece is safe, it should never lose a dime.

And what we like are the strategies that are not dependent on our interest rate forecast or anything else that's going on in the world we like the guaranteed safety and i'm talking about accounts that if the market goes up you get to go up and lock your gains in if the market goes down you're guaranteed not to lose and that's what true safety is is meaning that you can't lose no matter how crazy the world around you gets And for the part of your money that you can afford to lose, that's fine.

But what we know is as we get older, we should have less risk with our money.
