Australian wheat and canola markets were mostly firmer on Monday, while barley prices were relatively steady.
Looking at international markets, US wheat futures firmed, gaining support from technical buying after incurring significant losses over the past few weeks.
US corn futures edged higher on the back of light technical buying and an uptick in export demand.
Chicago soybean futures eased due to seasonal harvest pressure, although losses were limited by an improvement in the latest US export inspections data.
And ice canola futures were relatively steady overnight, while MATIF rapeseed futures moved lower following weakness in crude oil.
Seabot December 26 wheat was up $3 AUD per tonne to $318 per tonne.
Ice January 27 canola was up $3 AUD per tonne to $805 per tonne.
