I wanna say this.
Um, and you know, I wrote down one thing as, like, a note that I've really been paying attention to, and that is how they've used, um, Caitlin McBride as a screener this year.
You're probably thinking this too, but she's been on a tear, what is it, the last, like, two, three weeks especially.
Yeah.
But she, she was playing well all season, but she's just been on an absolute tear, um, this most recent stretch.
She is the most efficient guard screener in the league.
Uh, minimum 50 screening possessions, 1.275 points per direct.
So basically any time she's involved in a screening action, it's, like, absolutely insane.
And they're the only team in the league also to shoot 40-plus percent on catch-and-shoot threes every month this year, and they're not a team that gets them up a lot, but when they do, you know, they, they've been knocking them down, and, and McBride has been a huge part of that.
Um, she just throws in...
She's just a wrinkle that, um, Minnesota can throw at teams that they don't expect, because it's like you know she can knock it down at a ridiculous clip, which she wasn't at the beginning of the year.
Now she is.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, no, for sure.
It's funny, you started all, like, specific and shit, just went straight to Kate Mac.
[laughs]
Like, you know, we didn't even get, we didn't even get any big picture thoughts on the team and, you know, saying how, you know, maybe I'll say coming into the year it was like, if you told me they were the one seed by All-Star break, I would've been surprised.
But I think after, like, the third game of the year it was really obvious that, oh, snap, this is a damn good team.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Um, and it's like they're, in my opinion, they're the only team in the league who are elite on both sides of the court, you know? Uh, they have the best offense, second-best defense in the league.
Uh, plus five offense, almost plus six, and then, like, a plus four defense.
I mean, a plus five, plus four.
I wanna say this.
