Okay, so let's just start here.
Have either of you guys ever been in a season where you were really trying to level up your health or your life and you just felt completely alone in it?
I think I've shared this in past episodes where I have my friend Emily who helped me when we said we were going to make our second half of our life better than our first.
Before I had made that commitment with Emily and really started checking things off our wellness box and how we felt about it, I was alone.
I had put myself on the back burner.
I put my marriage on the back burner.
Everything was on the back burner.
Nothing was about me anymore.
but it wasn't about anybody else at the same time, if that makes sense.
I was alone and I thought that I had to do everything by myself and that if I put all the energy on myself again, that it would work out.
But in reality, I needed to find community and really help build myself back up.
And that's where I really started my process, especially when Emily and I decided to do things together.
That's when really the
momentum happened.
I'm kind of in that same boat of, like, if it's going to get done, it's up to me to do it.
And I... can take that on to my detriment.
And it is a like over giver trait that I have.
And it always burns me always because it's not always up to me.
But I feel like I take the responsibility, responsibility because we're all entrepreneurs.
And if it's not going to move forward, the idea is not going to develop or the story is not going to grow.
or the community's not going to grow, it's because we're not doing the things that we need to do.
But I'm so glad that I've got to link arms with both of you because this project here that we're actually working on, that you're listening to, has been so amazing to do with these ladies because we all have our strengths and we all have our input in the pieces and it just flows and it's much nicer to... move that wheel forward with people that are moving in the same direction.
So I think that that has been a new chapter for me to not have to do it all on my own.
Yeah, I totally hear what you're saying.
And I think that what happens when we start to change, it can make people around us feel a little uncomfortable.
