Weirdly, about two years ago, a friend of mine, somebody I work with, mentioned to me that they were starting to do a course.

I'm So I do the odd bit of training for professional purposes, but the thought of doing a course in the evening just filled me with dread.

Anyway, fast forward about 12 months, and I got this sudden urge and this passion to start doing courses.

So yeah, it was quite intense, but it really opened up that world of how the digital world operates.

Now, I hadn't really been used to being hands-on with this stuff because I essentially work with teams who've got that expertise.

You link one piece of content, say an internet page, and you link it into an asset.

You understand how you can navigate through an advert, through the kind of click here buttons, and then it takes you to the next page.

So that gave me a really good insight because my background mainly has been journalism, online publications and video editing and presenting and that kind of thing.

And then into government communications, local authority communications and where I'm managing teams.

And that's the big part of the job, that actually getting into the nitty gritty technicalities.

I was really interested in how it worked and how you nurtured somebody through that kind of digital journey.
