I'm GoPower Cat publisher Tim Fitzgerald, and this will be the season finale.

We've gone since the, uh, start of summer, basically, till now, into basketball, till now.

Um, and we'll be back next year to do more of these, but it's football season in Manhattan, so we turn our attention all the way to that topic.

But today, I'm gonna kinda pick up where we left off with last football season, and that's a little talk with Chris Klieman, who's out traveling.

I thought he was coming back from New York, but he's actually been back from New York, and now he's going somewhere else with his wonderful ri- wife, Rhonda.

I don't know.

I didn't wanna ask him.

It's his business.

But he's doing great.

You're gonna hear a lot from him here, and why he stepped away, and what went into it, and how important it was to have a guy like Collin to come in to take over at Kansas State.

Uh, I've never hidden my affection for Chris Klieman.

He's a genuinely wonderful human being.

I did not know his severity of his health issues with his blood pressure.

We did suspect something more than just heat was going on with him.

Uh, but it turned out he had some very bad blood pressure numbers, and stepping away was as much about mental health as physical health.

And he and Rhonda have been through some stuff with family trauma, and, um, his kids are growing up, and grown up.

Time to kinda focus on them.

He stepped away for all the right reasons, and passed it on to someone who I think fans are very excited about.

So let's cut to the chase now.
