Yeah, I'll be really interested to see what happens at the North American Championship, just because I think right now, like all the top players, at least that are already qualified, are sort of like batting down the hatches.
Let's talk to our specific playtest groups and try and find the best deck to bring for the tournament.
There's not a lot of tournaments, at least major tournaments, coming up that you'll be able to take some data from.
There's two more CCQs that are in this season, and then there's the D23 CCQ, and I think that's it.
So three major tournaments that are coming up.
I know there's also the Chinese Nationals is happening tomorrow.
So that'll be some data that you'll be able to get there.
But yeah, not a lot of stuff that you guys are going to have to look through.
So it'll be interesting to see how that shakes out.
Yeah, and pretty much all the CCQs aren't going to include players that are going to be playing at any of the Continentals, really.
So really, I think the tournament where we're going to have the best data is from the CCS 50k.
Oh, fair enough, yeah.
But that's so soon before that I don't know how reliable or how risky it's going to be to hard depend on that tournament's data.
And one thing about this is that Because we have such few tournaments with the players that will be showing up to Continentals, it's kind of risky to bank heavily into a meta.
You can meta call and guess and stuff, but there's a lot more likelihood that you're going to be punished and be wrong and you're going to show up and look at the room and you're like, well... you know, a lot of a lot of minus 5% just from what people brought in the room.
And that feels bad, which is one of the reasons why I was like really trying to to say, Hey, this yellow green deck is really broken.
We need to ban something right now because If it turns into this is probably the best generic strong deck and we need to start targeting it, you might target it very heavily.
And then still only 15%, 20% people will bring it because we don't know the room.
And it's a really, really bad spot.
I'm somebody who likes to target stuff like that for the most
part.
So it's a little bit of a scary proposition for me having that type of situation.
But we'll see what
happens.
Not something I need to worry about, at least at this point.
