But that being said, I did... play this deck over the weekend at the brainwash ccq i went six and one in the swish portion of the tournament this is the list that i took i was able to make top eight so i got uh my foil mother knows best as well as the play mat which was really exciting um i was on the play in top eight but unfortunately not able to go any further into the top eight also huge shout out to uh justin uh local dmv player who won that you might know him as jack shadows who was one of the pioneers of the kiwi deck um and kurt spice my teammate uh who made it into the top four but yeah i thought that this deck was going to be in a pretty good position after all of the events that that we had i i feel like the Meta has ebbed and flowed and ebbed and flowed and ebbed and flowed and finally was back in a good position for the Amber and Emerald deck.
Obviously, it did win the Europe Championship as well, so I think it is very well positioned as the meta has become so diverse that it's really... anyone's game and this is a great deck that can do a lot of really unfair things on the play uh so this is what i brought in round number one i played against amber emerald songs and was able to beat that in round number two i played against mickey and mini uh beat that same thing in round number three uh beat that 2-0 Round number four, I played against Emerald Steel on the draw, just barely lost in that matchup.
That was my only loss in Swiss.
After that round, I played against Amber Amethyst and I was able to win 2-0 in that matchup.
After that, I played against Songs again, was able to win.
And then I played against a really great player, David Nunes, shout out to him.
He was on Emerald Steel, and I was able to win in three games against that deck.
And then in the top eight, I was on the play against Emerald Steel.
Game one, I sent six, found no one drop.
I feel like if I had a one drop in that game number one, I would have won.
Game number two went pretty decisively in my favor, and game number three was going pretty well for me.
Sing, take down my Eleanor, and then snowball the game from there.
I feel like if I have the one drop in the first game, I'm probably going into the top four.
There I would have played Jack Shadows, who was on Amber Steel.
And I think we...
With the new lists, I think it's a lot closer, but...
I would have felt okay going into that.
I would have been on the draw because he was first seed.
I was fourth seed.
But that's all hypothetical.
I got the top eight.
I'm happy about that.
Two top eights with this deck at two really, really stacked CCQs this season.
