And let's just get right into the deck lists here.
Like I said, we built a whole bunch of decks for you all to take a look at, potentially give a try, refine a little bit, make your changes, and let us know how it goes in your testing.
But up first here, this is the deck that Sky was referencing as potentially maybe the best deck in the format.
Send help! And I will say...
I have played so many different decks.
I've already played hundreds and hundreds of games and testing.
And by far, this deck has been the best for me.
On the play, it feels like it's actually unlosable.
and on the draw still has a ton of really, really good lines.
Of course, we have Eleanor in the deck.
We have the Queen, very familiar faces, as well as Grandmother Willow and Aurora, as well as Bobby Zamarowski.
Some supporting all-stars in this deck being Pluto, pocahontas which can enable grandmother willow lines where you can triple one drop into your eleanor uh on turn number three extremely powerful having the ability to shift the pocahontas as well so uh your opponent cannot challenge in and stop you from just running them over is extremely powerful but i think so far at least for me the mvp has been mike wazowski an insane draw engine that generates value over and over and over again, and it just never ends throughout the game.
And if your opponent doesn't recognize it as soon as he hits the board and removes him, it's a huge mistake.
He seems like he might benefit your opponent, but you can just play so many cards onto the board uh so quickly and so efficiently that they're never going to be able to match the the card advantage that you're giving them right you're just going to use it better so mike has been insane the deck operates uh like a well-oiled machine but sky uh this is a decklist you sent me talk to me about it uh why do you think it is so powerful and uh do you think it'll be a major problem here in the format
Yeah, I think you were right on a lot of the stuff you said.
And shout out to Mike.
Mike was a card that we went over, we talked about, and I was like, eh, it's kind of mid.
It's fine.
It's probably only going in aggro deck, and aggro decks just spend two ink so much more efficiently for lore-wise.
But in this style of deck, where it is an aggressive deck, but it has so much discounts between Aurora, Pluto, and Willow, and even Pocahontas is kind of like a discount cheater for one turn.
Mike is a tank
man
he just is an engine that keeps on pumping you don't really care too much about giving your opponents cards for the most part the games that you're going to win is just from the tempo of what you can throw down and they're never going to run out of cards anyways so it's like just you
know
if they're not efficiently answering your stuff it's fine like you can almost give them their efficient character answers every turn it doesn't quite doesn't really affect the game plan too much so Mike has been insane and like he's a card that's like being he's not the greatest stats for for two costs but he is a zero four and oftentimes that means their biggest guy has to hit into it um or they need to send two things into it when your board is you know super wide with one cost and like maybe like one eleanor or something like their big guy probably has to go into eleanor and then are they gonna send two guys into mike well they can't really do that they're giving up you know too good of trade so he's just gonna keep on keep on trucking um and yeah it just feels like it's a deck that It comes out so fast that it has so much replacement effects between Nani, the Queen, Mike, Eleanor drawing cards that you can just keep playing stuff down and taking these non-favorable trades, even if you just quest out, take an Eleanor trigger, take out two guys, sometimes even every guy that's sideways.
