Offering your team members a degree of flexibility and that can be done in a lot of ways, not just remote working which yes, I'm gonna talk about, but it can be done in other ways as well.

It's one of the most highly valued benefits to property managers and I've seen flexible workplaces work really well with businesses who offer this kind of structure.

The results are more productive, you end up with a more loyal and motivated team which of course benefits everyone.

Two options that I'm gonna talk about today, of course number one which I've mentioned is remote working and then also flexibility when it comes to hours.

So for example, a team member may start at 8:00 AM and finish at 4:00 PM as opposed to 9:00 to 5:00 because as we know real estate property management is not really a 9 to 5 gig.

So as long as you work and stay in line with fair work conditions and the employment agreement that's in place and every party agrees, then it can be mutually beneficial for both the employer and the employee.

So for example, not all team members being remote on the same day, everyone being present in the office at least one day a week and this then enables you to be able to hold your team meetings.

It's offers the ability for culture building, providing support to each of the team members.

So it's a bit like when you're creating a process, right? You determine what works and what doesn't, you reassess, you try again or you implement and then you set a period of time for 6 or 12 months to reassess again.

So if people are happy where they are, they're less likely to look for alternative places of employment, and at the end of the day, people don't generally leave if they're happy, right? Number two is culture.
