Listen, shout out to the survivors, the supporters, everybody who is helping support, uh, those impacted by this devastating disease.

Like, what does Breast Cancer Awareness Month have to do with philanthropy? And I'm going to tell you, it has everything to do with philanthropy, guys.

Uh, everything that's going on, uh, the awareness campaigns, the donations, the 5K runs, all those things have a lot to do with, uh, this thing we call Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Listen, but we always on this show have to be mindful of how this whole thing works.

You know, some women wish they had more, some women wish they had less, and of course men wish they had them all.

And what I want to leave you with at the end of this is what you as a donor should be considering when it is time to donate and such.

That's what this is about, you know what I'm saying? I want to know when a corporation turns its product pink, who actually benefits, y'all? When you spend 50 bucks on a pink hoodie, how much of that money goes toward breast cancer research, treatment, or patient support, or helping somebody who cannot, um, afford a mammogram? How much of that money, of that 50, is doing that? And when a nonprofit specifically asks for a donation, do you as a donor know what it's actually, what they're actually doing with the money? Right? You're gonna get these causes, you're gonna get these asks, you're gonna see the pink, but there's a big difference between raising awareness, raising money, and making a difference.
