So I just want to step back slightly, make it a little bit more general and go into some of those points you raised therein.

What precisely is at stake in terms of the sector and in terms of the potential impact on patients when we talk about keeping Europe competitive on the global stage?

I think that first of all, we need to acknowledge that cancer outcomes have been improved a lot in the last years,

And most of these comes from the research and the innovation from pharmaceutical industries.

Now we have a patient that lives much longer without much better quality of life.

And I think that there is a lot of also of inequities in assessing this medicine that we need to cover and we need to solve.

And if we give this access and we reward the innovation properly, then investment will come and Europe can generate even more evidences, even more science than in the past and becoming a stronger and stronger contributor to the research.

What we say in B1 is that cancer research is not an element of one person or one company or one caregiver only.

It's something that we need to do together, that we need to go in a community, in a teamwork, in a strong collaboration.

I think this is our approach, right? How we work all together to make this an important impact for the patients everywhere.
