Elodie Saint-LouisHostI've been thinking a lot about your work, Patrick, since we met at the Atlanta Art Fair.
I feel like I walked into your studio, and your work just really resonated with me, especially in our current political moment.

I mean, there's a lot going on in the world, you know? And then, like, those that are in the diaspora are truly, like, waving their flags high and proud and making sure that there's an education that's happening, you know, and just informing people of some of the truths.

I was on a panel last week, and it was four Haitian American creatives and a filmmaker, the founder of One Music Fest, an Olympian, and we all were born here in the US, but just felt like it was time for us to take that responsibility on to kinda share some of, like, the history of Haiti and, like, what it's done not only for the diaspora but just, I mean, even America.

People are just kinda, like, uninformed about how big of a situation and how important the revolution was.

And so we're using our mediums to kinda share the gospel and the good news, right, amongst all the negativity that you see politically and, and in the news.
