So I was thinking about this topic and actually an Instagram post that I made kind of made me think more about this.
And that is like resilience and how resilient are we and what can we do to improve resilience? And what we mean by resilience, because I don't know that everybody understands what it means when we talk about the nervous system.
I posted something, I spent like two or three weeks since I posted it, and I had a commenter say, I don't understand.
And so he was saying, I get that, you know, you want the best performance, but this performer doesn't look resilient or nervous.
And when I'm looking at an elite performer, my question is, how would I take them up? And that question is answered through what I'm seeing in their movement, what their body's saying to me still could use some boosting.
And that is what we're talking about when we're talking about building resilience in the nervous system is looking for the lowest lying fruit and then taking the information from that lowest lying fruit area and feeding it into a way, a system, a systematic approach of boosting or bolstering that one skill that we see as maybe not their best performance area.
So that just just listening to you describe that, that makes me think of one of the one of the things that I learned in my training.
So like, you know, that my instructor was like, OK, so those of you who work with high level elite performers.
