Stacey Brass RussellHostNow, What is this strategy that I want to talk about? And I will be talking about it in the workshop series, but it's personal outreach and follow up and like direct communication with the people that are in your ecosystem.
And the reason why like this came up was first of all, because I was thinking of what I want to teach this summer.
And a friend of mine, is currently launching and sort of like trying to fill a small program for the summer.
You know, I have a lot of business friends that we just like support each other and talk each other through stuff.
Which is what I think is the number one business strategy, which is doing direct personal outreach to people who, and for lack of a better word, I'm going to call them leads, like leads.
hot leads, warm leads, not cold leads, but hot leads and warm leads, which are the individuals that have already shown you or expressed some interest in the work you do or in working with you.
And that could be anyone that has, first of all, that's on your email list.
Anyone that's on your email list is someone that is there for a reason and your email list exists for one purpose, not to have pen pals, not to write emails into the ethers, but we assume that if someone's on our email list and it's not a friends and family personal list or like a pen pal list, then we have to assume that they are interested in what we offer or what we're doing or what we're saying, right? For a variety of reasons, they might be there, but one of which is that they are potential customers slash clients for you.
Otherwise, why are they on there? Why do they think we're emailing them? Anyone who's on your email list knows that like the only reason why you're running an email list is for your business.
You might not be like nonstop promoting and selling on the email list, but you're At the end of the day, if anyone doesn't know that the reason why you have an email list that they're on is because ultimately you hope that they or at least other people that are on the email list are eventually going to pay you or work with you, then they're bananas, right? Like why would they think that you have an email list? Just for fun? Maybe some people have it just for fun, but there's always a reason why we do something.
So people in your email list are always considered warm leads because they're there.
Maybe when they're brand new to your list, they're not really warm yet.
But if someone's hanging out, opening your emails, been there for a while, we consider that a warm lead.
Then what are other warm and hot leads? Somebody that came to a live event that you put on.
That could be virtual, right? So they came to a free masterclass or they joined like if you're me, like my five-day boot camp or in April, we did the three-day like how to sell coaching anytime, anywhere, right? I do live, you know, my live event in October.
