Most people create their offers backwards. They decide what they want to sell, they build it, they put it out into the world — and then they can't sell it and they can't figure out why. I'm breaking…
Stacey Brass RussellHostSo what I wanna talk about today is actually offer creation, and the reason I wanna talk to you about offer creation is because I right now am in the thick of offer creation.
And w- you know, like, basically, I'm creating the event, which is an offer, right? I mean, like, it's a, it's something that I have to deliver, okay, and it's something that people have already paid for.
Now, I created the offer, um, meaning I've, I outlined the offer and wrote a sales page for it so that people could actually sign up for it, right? And this offer is a very specific delivery because it's just a two-day in-person event, okay? So basically, I, you know, I know that this is a two-day in-person event.
I know how to create content that has a desirable outcome that can be delivered in two days to the people who have paid for this offer, and technically, this offer is a low-ticket offer, right? I mean, the tickets were 497.
Um, they may or may not go up, uh, for the last couple of tickets 'cause why not? 'Cause, like, I've been selling the tickets no problemo, right? So, um, but what I use, like, my...
The way I think about offers is the way I think about every offer, whether it's a, a lower ticket or, you know, like, a two-day event like this or my one-year program, The Passion Prosperous Academy or my one-on-one coaching or this new offer that I am developing that is going to be something that I offer at my event.
Now, one of the things that I am known for, that I am great at in a, in, in the best possible way, because if you are someone who sells transformational coaching or programs or courses or any sort of, like, um, you know, any sort of expert-driven work and you want to be someone who sells your work by showing up, by being visible, by creating workshops, master classes, webinars, by going out and teaching or speaking on other people's stages, by getting on podcast interviews, uh, by creating your own stages like me, um, if that's you, then one of the things that you probably will at some point need to become good at is what I call selling from the stage.
Selling from the stage is when you get to be in front of an audience of people and have it result in them wanting to work with you, wanting to buy your thing, whatever it is, okay? And that is, that is a business strategy that is the alternative to, um, essentially paying for leads, paying for ads.
Now- I'm not gonna go deep into talking about ads right now, but I do wanna say that, like, I use ads in a very sparing, very, like, a sparingly way, and a very specific way in my business.
I don't spend a lot of money on ads, and I use ads very strategically, uh, when I'm in launches to bring people to my, um, to my free content, okay? And then I do the heavy lifting.
I sell people into my programs, and I do that by bringing people into my ecosystem, right? Uh, getting them...
So, so basically I use it as a shortcut sometimes when I don't have the opportunity always to get in front of other people's audiences, right? Like, going out.
One thing that I ha- that I do that works very well for me in my business is I go out and I teach and speak in other people's communities, in other people's programs, on other people's podcasts.
They might even want to find out about how to work with me pretty much right away, right? Um, and so one of the ways that I teach my clients to, uh, attract clients is by getting in front of people and delivering things in ways that make them interested in working with you, or at least wanting to know more, or at least getting onto your, uh, I call it your yellow brick road.
If you've been listening to the show, you know I call it your yellow brick road.
I just think it sounds really nice to imagine all of these people that have discovered you and know you exist, here they are, and they're just sort of, like, hanging out on this golden brick road that you've created for people to be able to follow you, to consume your content, to, um, to, uh, you know, hear you, to see you, to get emails from you, to, uh, to read things from you, and, and, and all of that.
