So recently, Dr. George Barna released a book, and it was about the process of a child maturing and different factors in that.

And one of the things that he made a tremendous point about was having five non-parental adults involved in your child's life and the impact that that made in their future.

And that is one thing that you can do is you and your child select some other people outside your home that are important influences in their lives and plan interaction with them.

And Dr. Tim Elmore, in one of his recent books, talked about the importance of how he helped in more of a rite of passage type of activity.

They planned out these adults that were going to be a part of his daughter's life.

And over a one-year period, planned interaction with these five other ladies that they had determined were people that she would want as a role model in her life in some way.

Some were strong in the arts, other in the roles that they played in community, different things.

There were different aspects to each person, but he helped her form relationships and created opportunities for her to be with those people.

Sometimes it was with their work that they were She would shatter them in her work.

But all of these encounters helped move the maturity level of the daughter in a way that the parent couldn't.
