I've been listening to your podcast lately and you talk about your first time back in Forster and the lack of knowledge around at the time.

I started triathlon back in the 90s doing a sprint series in Sydney out of Cannelle.

Back in those days, it was only really Kona and Forster, although there was a New Zealand race as well.

The heroes at the time were Scott, Alan, Zach, Hellriegel, Glar, Newby Fraser, Baker, Badman, etc.

I wanted to do the Ironman, but then it was only for the very best of the best and there was nothing around for mere mortals.

Well, Forster moved to Port Macquarie in 2026 due to the race outgrowing the original venue.

I now have moved from individual gels to the flow gel, which are much easier to take.

Should I stick to a regulated time to have them, for example, every 30 minutes and take 30 grams, or react more to how my body and mainly my legs are feeling and take earlier if they're needed? So first up, the product here that Rob's talking about is the Precision Fuel and Hydration Flow Gel.
