Heeey! I'm back with a quick tip solo episode of the Owning Your Sexual Self podcast! If date nights keep getting pushed off, feel hard to plan, or always seem to fall on one person, this episode is…

I'm coming to you with another quick podcast today just for those that are wanting something to have more intentional connection in a relationship.

Sometimes dates become something that couples just say that they need to do, but then they're rarely getting scheduled.

Or when I talk with couples, they're like, oh, date night? What's that even mean? And so this is where this tool can come into handy.

I've been talking about this tool for years and finally putting voice to it on the podcast to hopefully get this out to more people.

But yeah, when you do prioritize connection, sometimes it also focuses exclusively on the relationship.

And so when that happens, then this individual time gets neglected too, especially if there are kids involved or we have careers, we have household responsibilities, etc., So today, again, I want to give you this ridiculously simple relationship tool that can help literally implement right before you even finish listening to this episode.

And so the idea is that every month you intentionally plan for different types of dates.

So I actually, again, I learned this tool from my friend, Lauren Libkeman, and she shared this many years ago, actually, before her son was born, or right after her son was born, rather, as a way that they started to just continue having that individuality in relationships and also making sure that they were having time for just the two of them and also time for them as a family.

So first, if you are in a heterosexual relationship, what I'm recommending is, well, heterosexual, same sex, it doesn't matter.

So a solo date for her could be time that she's completely spending for herself.

When it's your time to plan your solo date, you get to decide how you want to spend that time.
