welcome to r613 through the eyes of a woman learning the safer ha mitzvahs together today we are learning installment 210 and positive commandment 110 where we are learning all about the purification process for a person who was a mitsora a mitsora is somebody who had tsaraas which was the impurifying skin condition that left them a temporary state of exile and in order to get back into a state of purity they had to go through this purification process and that is what we are discussing today as well the Rambam takes some time to discuss the stages of purification because there are three general states of purification we have one stage which uses actually which is used for every type of impurity which is going to the mikvah we know that going to the mikvah allows somebody to become pure and we will actually talk more about that next sunday As well, we have the may nida, which the waters from the para aduma, from the red heifer, from the ashes, which we discussed previous weeks, which sprinkled with the live waters helps to allow somebody to come pure in case they came into contact with a dead body.
And today we are discussing about the final purification process, which is with somebody who comes down with the condition of leprosy, whether themselves or their home.
And in order to be purified again, they go through this process, which we will discuss today.
