Do you find yourself bending the rules for high-profile clients? Are you socially, racially, or culturally biased? Let’s talk about it. **Scripture References:** - James 2:1 TPT - Proverbs 16:11 TPT…
The Bible tells us in James 2, verse 1, the Passion Translation, it says, My dear brothers and sisters, fellow believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, how could we say that we have faith in Him and yet we favor one group of people above another? In Proverbs 16, verse 11, the Passion Translation says, The Lord expects you to be fair in every business deal, for He is the one who sets the standards for righteousness.
So I'm going to ask the question again.
Do you find yourself bending the rules for your high-profile clients? Are you socially, racially, or culturally biased? When we are fear in our business deals, it means that our clients experience just treatment or behavior without discrimination.
That's the standard.
It's the customer experience we aim to provide for all our clients.
Otherwise, how can we say we're in the kingdom of God and favor one group of people above the other? When someone is wrong or violates company policy, and we give them a pass simply because of who they're related to, or their social status, their color, their academic credentials, or their gender...
We're not practicing fairness.
And the Bible tells us in Proverbs 24, verse 23 to 25, they amplified.
It says to show partiality in judgment is not good.
The easy version says, when you judge people, be fair.
It is not good to respect some people more than others.
It says when judges decide to punish a guilty person, they will be happy because God will bless them.
When you judge fairly in your organization, you'll be happy because God will bless you.
Uh-huh.
The passion translation says judgment must be impartial for it is always wrong to be swayed by a person's status.
