Gunsmoke, “Trojan War,” originally broadcast January 3, 1960. This CBS Radio presentation is a rebroadcast of a story first aired in 1953, written by Les Crutchfield and directed by Norman Macdonnell. William Conrad stars as Marshal Matt Dillon, with Parley Baer as Chester.
When three members of the Pueblo Gang ride into Dodge City, Dillon has reason to be wary—but no cause to arrest them. After a stage from Buckeye fails to arrive, Dillon and Chester set out on a tense investigation involving a threatened route, stolen gold, and a dangerous trail ahead.
Old Time Radio Stories presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
