Are You Confused?

And my message today is entitled Are You Confused? Are you confused about Jesus and God? Well, I was.

I was for quite some time.

I could never reconcile in my own mind why an almighty God would allow His Son and require His Son to die a horrific and painful death.

What was the purpose, I, I said to myself.

Why was it necessary? Well, this is my opinion only.

But here is my current thinking.

I think God and Jesus w- are and were one in the same.

You know, Mary was Jesus's mother.

She c- she became pregnant by immaculate conception.

Immaculate conception is sometimes referred to as the virgin birth, meaning God caused Mary to be with child just as He created the heavens and the Earth.

You know, He created, He created light simply by saying, "Let there be light." So I can imagine God only had to say, "Let Mary be with child, and name Him Jesus." You know, the birth of Jesus was a day that will live in empathy.

And I also believe that God transformed Himself into the Jesus embryo.

Therefore, the embryo was actually God.

So when Jesus was crucified, both Jesus and God, as one and the same, endured the pain until death.

Then, when God raised Jesus from the dead, He was actually raising Himself.

So when Jesus ascended to heaven to j- join His Father, He once again became one with His Father, and why Jesus is now referred to as Lord.

Jesus is Lord.

He holds all authority in heaven and on Earth.

So no doubt in my mind that Jesus is in fact God.

I believe that God was in Jesus from the beginning, and Jesus was in God.

Furthermore, I believe Jesus is in each of us, and each of us is, is in Jesus.

That's why Jesus loves us unconditionally.

When the prodigal son left his father, he wound up sleeping and eating with the hogs.

However, when he decided to return to his father to ask his forgiveness, his father accepted him with wide-open arms.

Jesus is like that.
