First of all, this is top of mind because I just had a great experience myself, but what about taking some bird seed, giving it to all your kids, your grandkids, and take a little walk? There are multiple places in Fish Creek Park, you know to the west, to the south.
Uh, I was just at the Glenmore, North Glenmore Park at, at the Weaselhead part where you are walking through the forest where it's kind of quiet and the trees are around and you hear the birds.
You can just take out some bird seed on your hand, lift it up And I have had three times over the years little chickadees, birds, come land on my hand or kids' hands.
You know, you feel like Snow White walking through the forest feeding the animals.
I mean, that is quite, I don't care how old you are, that is quite a magical experience.
Uh, I mean, I'm not gonna say all of the great parks I've already outlined in my handouts I've posted all over social media, but even if you haven't thought of it, a short drive out to High River, George Lane Park, like a different park.
Um, and then you can eat at their famous, uh, drive-in, The Hitching Post, which my husband did take me on a date one time, and we had a blast.
A little bit north of High River up in Okotoks, if you, you know, if you're, like, leaving Okotoks on the west side, there is a big rock [laughs] on the side of the highway.
Take the kids down, lots of room for them to run around, and just experience this beautiful element of nature sitting right there.
And then as you continue driving along, you could hit Diamond Valley, and they have a beautiful river walk that you can do.
