This Saturday, the people of Osun State will head to the polls to elect the governor who will lead them for the next four years.

After months of intense campaigns, political realignments, accusations, and counter-accusations, the race has entered its final hours.

Fifteen political parties are participating in the election, but three candidates have dominated the conversation.

Incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Najim Salam of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

As election day approaches, one question remains: What should Osun people expect after the votes are counted? Will the outcome unite the states or deepen political divisions? And how prepared are voters, political actors, and electoral officials for a peaceful and credible election?
