The New Orleans Saints has spent a lot of equity on their offense, but now their defense is lacking

Mike, something out of the ordinary happened this week.

Um, Gail Benson, the owner of the New Orleans Saints, had a lot to say about, um, her feelings about where they find themselves at the present time, focusing on productivity, called out some of the front office.

That's not happened very often.

No, it was basically, it was, it was everybody.

I mean, every- everybody got a little bit, you know.

I, I don't, you know...

The New Orleans Saints Touchdown Club been around forever.

I don't know that they knew what was coming to their event that day, [laughs] and that a lot, you know.

Uh, I think most people didn't.

Uh, but Mrs. Benson is the owner of this team, and she's a great ambassador, and she's genuine, and she's a, you know, great person.

But you know what? She was married to Tom Benson for a long time, sh- so I feel like something had to be said.

And so I f- you know, I think she spoke kind of from the heart and kind of maybe said some things that some fans are saying, you know? But really, it's, they're in the m- in the early stages.

It's funny.

You know, when you're in July and August, and you're selling tickets, and you're, and you're optimistic, and the, the expectations for this season were way high because of what we saw with Tyler Shuck last year.

But really, the truth is you're rebuilding, and nobody wants to hear that.

Yeah.

And you sh- you say that when you're one and four.

Well, you can say it when, in, in July, but they are.

This is a rebuilding team.

Tyler Shuck started 14 games.

He hasn't even played a full season.

You don't have your number one draft pick.

You don't have your number one free agent in Travis Etienne.

So that's just, you know, who you don't have.
