**What if the reason you keep regaining weight isn’t a lack of willpower—but because diets never address why you’re eating in the first place?** At 61, retired nurse Kim felt like she had tried…
I'm not trying to say that what we do replaces antidepressants or proper mental health support.
What specifically about this process do you think has enabled you not to need to go down that route and to feel so much better? If you could...
There's obviously a whole host of things, but what do you think the number one thing is?
I think it's just hope.
It's hope and joy.
There's hope for the future.
There's progress to be made.
I've got so many plans now that I wouldn't have done before, wouldn't have had before, rather.
You know, I'm just... got lots of ideas things are in the pipeline I've booked a swimming course to improve my swimming I've been on a floristry course I'm planning to do some big walks I just let's just hope and I and I think I'm over 61 but I've got a good few years in me yet and hopefully you know my later years will be full of enjoyment and you know feeling like I'm not just getting through life but properly living life.
I think what it sounds like is what was going on before was a bit of a negative feedback loop or a vicious cycle where things were just gradually getting worse.
You know what you kind of quote unquote should be doing, but you're not doing those things.
And then you pair that on top of the stress of what's going on with your parents and all the other kind of stuff.
And what happens going through a process like this is we start to get you out of, we, we, we end that vicious cycle, that negative feedback loop.
We start to get you into that positive feedback loop where making these small little changes lead to more positive changes.
Uh, and every time you do that, the, the, the virtuous cycle gets stronger and stronger and stronger and things are just gradually improving in every aspect of your life.
I agree.
Yes.
