And that's been around for a long time, right? So how can a broker build a compliance program that actually supports growth instead of getting in the way?

Well, it's actually in your question, the answer is you mentioned build a compliance program, right? Compliance program is a compliance management system, which is called a CMS.

It's when you're always in a reactive state where compliance is something that you're always putting out afar or you're responding to an exam finding or lender request or renewal.

You're going through a licensing agency at renewal time and you feel like you're in a reactive mode.

But I think if you simply adopt compliance as a program and a system, we have a foundational system called a compliance management program, which is a compliance management toolkit.

It's going to have in there your complaint management, being responsive to your client base and the consumers.

It's going to have also regulatory reporting, right? Just filing your MCR reports timely, your renewal process, your continuing ed, your licensing and things like that.

So if you take these 10 pillars seriously and you develop the program, almost everything that comes along in running a business 365 days a year usually is bounced off of that as a sounding board and it's quite manageable then.

We know from all the examinations we've been involved in, there's nothing that falls outside those 10 pillars.

Let's see your complaint log, right? So they all come out of those 10 pillars.

If you weren't aware of the program, you'd be running around looking for all these things as if they're spread all around and partially worked on and not fully developed.
