Inzamam RasheedNoah HorowitzGuestUm, let's bring you in, uh, Stephen, on this idea of this, the Swiss referendum.
It is something that, you know, it, it-- the, the idea that I think they would be losing access to the single market if they voted in favor of this because you have to have free movement of people, um, in terms w- under the terms that Switzerland has with the European Union.
So the minute that you start to tinker, tinker with that, then you suddenly find yourself unpicking an awful lot of relationships.

Indeed, and, uh, you know, Tyler mentioned they're part of Schengen too, so, you know, th- that it would really would open a can of worms.

I, I thought just as a, um, slightly tangentially, but I thought it was interesting that, you know, he, he talked about male votes and then had to spell it out because, of course, Switzerland was the last country in Europe to allow women to vote, um, comparatively recently, certainly in my lifetime even.

Um, but, uh, I, I, it's, it's interesting they're having it, but I'm not getting quite as excited about it because they have lots of referenda in, in Switzerland.

Um, you know, making the comparison with, with the awful Brexit referendum with the ridiculous result in this country, uh, nailing my colors firmly to the mast.

Um, I, I don't think, you know, I, I, th- uh, uh, I don't think people in this country did actually know what they were voting for, um, whereas I think the Swiss will be more pragmatic about it.

And the very questions you've said, you know, I, I would, I would be very surprised if they vote for a, a limit on numbers.

[laughs] Um, uh, it has some wonderful scenery, and my wife and I did some wonderful walking in the mountains last year.

Uh, but, um, it's not a country I would choose to go and live with, so it's not personally going to affect me, uh, if they limit to ten million.
