And thank you, Christina, for this great, um, prompt for a topic because there is, for a lot of you, you are gonna have low-ticket offers to begin with, right? Because you're just getting your feet wet, like when you're building an online business and you're not gonna dive right into higher-ticket coaching packages or even higher-ticket courses or anything like that, and maybe you're just gonna, you know, see how it feels to sell something that is less expensive, right? That's usually how it starts, and that's certainly how it started for me, um, where my first, uh, offer was a low-ticket offer.
And so I wanna talk about it, um, but I also wanna explain the whole concept of the offer stack, right? And, a- and what it takes, right? Because there are gonna be a lot of people out there on the socials, on the interwebs, telling you that, "Yeah, you can have, you know, just sell your $27 download and whatever, and just kick back and relax at the pool and, and you're good, and you're just gonna be raking it in with your six-figure business and all of that." And the fact is that if you have a low-ticket offer, you need to make a lot more sales.
Like, your volume and your hustle go up the more-- the lower the price and the revenue, right? So the lower the price and the lower the revenue, the more you're hustling, the more volume of sales.
Um, so let's say that your goal is consistent, uh, $5,000 a month, right? Let's say that you wanna-- you, you have an online business.
You're in kind of the beginning stages of an online business, and you're not making six figures a year yet, but you just wanna get to consistent 5K a month.
So a lot of my clients find themselves in this position where they, they would like to make consistent sales, and they would like to hit a monthly revenue milestone.
So let's actually look at the numbers and just break down what, what that actually means.
So if you go low-ticket, let's say you have, um, maybe it's a membership, a low-ticket membership, or maybe it's a low-ticket course, or maybe it's a low-ticket download.
For the sake of this calculation, let's just say it's $50, okay? You would need to make 100 sales, right? One hundred sales in one month to hit your goal, right? Now, if you don't have, like, [chuckles] a, a machine that is making sales every single day, you're not gonna be making those sales, right? 'Cause you're not gonna be...
You need to have a large audience of buyers, and you have to have existing funnels set up, and you have to have volume, traffic and volume to make that many sales in one month to hit that number, okay? Now, whereas let's evaluate, like, a mid-tier offer, right? Let's say you have a course, it's 500 bucks, and you're, you have to make only 10 sales, right? You only have to make 10 sales a month, and that starts to feel more doable 'cause you're like, "Okay, 10 sales in one whole month." Like, you know, could you do it? Could you, could you do it? Like, you, you could see how it could be feasible to do that, right? If you don't have a huge audience, like, you could do that.
Um, now imagine you have a group coaching program, right? Let's say this group coaching program is 2.5K, right? Two and a half thousand dollars for a group coaching program.
The amount of volume that you need to have in order to make your entire business dependent on a low-ticket offer is really challenging, and that's why so many people with low-ticket offers give up, um, and throw in the towel and burn out because of the volume and the hustle that it takes.
