So for me, this meant letting go of things like my anger, resentment, judgment, self-doubt, irritation, frustration, all the things.

And how many of us co-mingle these exact negative emotions or any variation of with our concept of money? And I'm willing to bet that it's probably most of us to some degree.

Maybe you talk about treating yourself when you know that purchasing something isn't in alignment with where you are financially.

Even if we're not aware of the current identity that we're operating under, it's running in the background.

So as a kid, I remember two times I was given cash for special occasions around the ages of like roughly 8 and 10 or 8 and 12, actually.

So I held on to the cash I was given, meticulously trying to determine what to buy with it.

Because in my mind, when would I ever see that kind of money again? And so I was anxious about choosing the wrong thing, regretting my choice, and then wasting that money, or what I thought would be wasting that money.

Because my concept of money at the time, or the energy that I had around money, it was extremely fragile.

And I couldn't hold the energy of large amounts of wealth, or any wealth, really, because my parents couldn't.
