Sep 7, 2026 · 21 min · 10 segments
In this episode Jane discusses the reality on being patient while losing weight. It's common to be impatient and have lots of emotions around weight loss, but how do stay patient? For info on working…
Yes, staying patient with weight loss.
Man, this is, this is something I probably need to listen to many times because I'm a girl.
I'm a woman.
I get emotional.
I get frustrated.
I eat a certain way, look in the mirror some days, and I just, I don't like what I see.
Have the ups, the downs.
It's not easy.
And I know men go through emotions too, but I work with women.
I'm a woman.
So I'm gearing this a little bit more toward the ladies, but it doesn't mean these things can't apply to men, of course.
But the thing is, when we are emotional, sometimes we look at what happened? How did I get here? What did I do wrong? How did I repeat this yet again? It's hopeless.
What I used to do.
I used to be this way.
Like we can just spiral.
All sorts of thoughts, feelings, emotionals.
It's normal.
In some ways you are valid because a lot of us really do need to have a low point.
to pull us out, get back on track, or start for the first time.
That's okay.
Have your feelings, have your emotions, recognize things can change.
But what I want you to ask yourself is not what used to work or how did I get here and all the things you did wrong.
I want you to think, how am I going to get to my results based off where I'm at today? The season of life I'm in, the chapter of life I'm in, the demands of my life, whatever it may be.
Because what used to work maybe isn't working anymore.
And maybe that's why you are where you're at.
