So in this episode, I want to talk to you about What happens during a sales conversation, whether that's on the phone, whether that's in person, whether that's on a Zoom call, what happens when you lose the actual sale? Well, the truth of the matter is, in most cases, and I say most cases, okay, because some cases don't apply, but in most cases, it's got nothing to do with your offer.

And I'm not the first person to tell you this, but I am going to be one of the first people to explain it to you like this.

In fact, I tell everyone, especially people who are members of our Institute of Neurocognitive Persuasion, that selling happens 80% of the time before you even speak to the prospect.

Before you even meet someone, before you even jump on a call, 80% of the selling should be done way over here in advanced.

It starts first and foremost, right at the very beginning on how you communicate with yourself.

I'm not the first person to tell you this and you're not going to be the last, okay? But please understand something.

What are you saying to yourself before you even get into prospecting, before you even put your ad out there, before you even tell people about what you do? What are you saying to yourself? And if you're really honest, many of you listening to this are perhaps telling yourself stuff that is lowering your vibration, lowering your energy, putting you into a low state.

And then when you're doing that, you're now putting out a message to try and talk to people, get them onto a sales conversation.

And because you've been talking shit to yourself, by the time you get to talking to an actual prospect, then all of that stuff in your unconscious mind starts to come out.

What are you saying to yourself? Where's it coming from? And for many of us, we're telling ourselves some stupid story about why we're not good enough.

So look, this isn't about doing some positive affirmations and doing some mantras before you jump on a call and all that kind of stuff.
