So, I mean, the thing is, there's no such thing as a perfect mum, is there? You know, that's a bit of a myth that we can all be perfect mothers.

I'm just, I'm just thinking along the lines of, I think that a mother's place is in the wrong.

And there's always a lot of or in my experience, a lot of guilt around our mothering.

And then yourself as a mother with a sense of compassion, because you've looked at that generational story that's been passed down.

And I think for all of us, especially women, and I don't want to single women out with this because I've worked with some men as well who have also been affected by this lineage, the female lineage, because boys were often seen as favourites in a lot of families.

And their expectations put on them or certain ways of being, attitudes around women

And yeah, the mother guilt that we, I mean, I experienced a lot of mother guilt and, you know, because I abandoned my kids as well because I was in active addiction, you know, when they were young and I wasn't able to do that mirroring, but I've developed a compassion for myself around that.
