Yesterday I, I texted and left a message for Randy Rominski, Ag Secretary, see if I could get, uh, something out of Madison, and he's got a, a line to the governor's office as a department chair.
Still this morning haven't heard anything from that as far as, uh, the road bans and as far as dyed diesel on the roads.
In fact, give us the update on what other states have done, a couple of our neighbors.
And in Illinois, Governor JB Pritzker has issued a state disaster proclamation that orders the Illino- Illinois State Police not to impose state penalties when dyed diesel fuel from bulk storage is sold or used on state highways for farming and agricultural purchases through December 31st.
Also, the Illinois Department of Transportation is directed to consider extending the state's harvest permit program as far as next summer if diesel shortages and elevated prices persist.
And again, un- unless we've missed it, uh, I'm still waiting to hear from Wisconsin.
So, uh, we've tapped what we tried to do as all of our resources, but, uh, so far...
And we're keeping an eye on it to see if it does come out, because this weekend an awful lot of stuff is gonna happen in our fields as far as the fall harvest.
