That's an enormous amount of responsibility to give to a job, right? work now apparently needs to not only provide an income, but meaning, identity, purpose, fulfillment, creativity, friendship, status, personal growth, excitement, and happiness, right? I mean, good Lord, that's insane.

And if your business doesn't light you up, apparently you've done something terribly, terribly wrong.

if you can't say yes to all of those things, work isn't failing you, right? Maybe you've given work an impossible job description.

It's a really interesting one, this, because for a large chunk of my 15 years in business, my identity has been the business.

But But I would say that that's less so now because now it is my identity more is about me as a person and I really like the work that I do.

So it's kind of less about validation and clicks and all that stuff because, yeah, the nature of my work has changed.

I think for me the shift was moving it from a numbers volume online business to... a deep relationship, consultative, strategic business.

And Your business should be your passion, right? Should it? I mean, I don't know.

That's what the claim is, okay? You know, the claim is follow your passion, find your purpose, build your dream business.

Oh my God, I'm going to get all of these laminated for you and send them out in the post to all my readers.

entrepreneurship absolutely identifies all of this right because you chose the business you chose to do the thing that you're doing and it's like if you don't love it then when it's your fault um oh my goodness me it's and if you don't absolutely adore every second of it perhaps you've chosen the wrong thing oh gasp who even are you it's it's just a wild wild claim um That that's how it should be.
