Several years ago, I think I mentioned to you, my husband had encouraged me to do some artwork.

In fact, there were a whole series of quotes that I looked up and I put my own, these quotes inside frames that I had designed and I had fun doing it.

But after I did that, I I got an idea to do something that I would call my favorite happiness quotes, meaning famous quotes.

that had something to do with living happy on the inside and seeing how it would manifest externally, very much in line with everything I've always been about throughout my lifetime.

So I must have put together a book, and it was a free book, and I would periodically put one of these pieces of artwork, the frames with the quote, as well as a very brief chapter that went with it, and I would just send it out on my LinkedIn profile.

Well, I'd forgotten all about it as, you know, things come and go in life, but it popped up again tonight, and I looked at it, and I started reading through, and I thought, oh, I think that this would be worth a refresh and a repeat for people that tune into this podcast series.

As I do them, I think you'll enjoy them and I'll probably do this maybe in two installments.

But this is something I want to share with all of you because maybe this was 10 years ago I did this book.

Even as far back as 10 years ago, I can remember looking up quotes and thinking to myself, Oh, and then not only would I look up the quotes, but I would also go into the people's lives who wrote the quotes.

But even back then, I could remember thinking, you know what? A lot of history has been rewritten.

A lot of people, their stories, their lives have been, I don't want to say fabricated, but they've been enhanced.

Some of these people I had truly never heard of, but I will tell you, that I liked what the words said.

So what I'm going to suggest to you as a caveat, a proviso, as a preface to this whole little reading today of this book, is you don't really need to know so much who the supposed author is.

And it goes all the way back to that same premise that I had even as a little child.

And that is that we are to live a happy, full, peaceful, prosperous, and let's say purposeful life.

life from our inside or from our heart and then outwardly where most of the world tries to find its purpose, its happiness, its value, its sense of importance by comparing itself or ourselves with what we see in our outer world.

So again, if If it means that it is a, I don't even want to call it a retraction, but I would say just this proviso for entering into this book, listen to the words and you don't need to necessarily ascribe it to the person who gave the quotes.
