Chullin 123a Purposelessness (Part 2) - כיון שנקרע רובו טהורה (ב)

Normally, each day we move on to the next daf and we choose a matman from either the daf of the day or the daf of the next day.

But today, as I mentioned yesterday, we'll spend a little bit more to gloss over this area of Tumman Tara without understanding the first principles and how they work.

It's just silly.

It's just a stupid thing to do.

If one wants to skip it out altogether, then you can skip it out.

Or if you want to just read through it and say, I've done the daf, then read through it and say you've done the daf.

It doesn't matter what language you read it, whether you read it in Greek or in Arabic or in Hebrew, it doesn't matter because you don't understand it in any case.

But if one wants to use the opportunity to become familiar with these halachot, because we don't normally have that, then we have to take the opportunity just to spend a little bit more time on it.

So I'm remaining on daf kuf kaf gimel.

Just to get a little bit further, we'll do part two.

of this, what I've called the gateway to the laws of Tuma and Tara, just to begin to get a sense of what they are and what they mean and how we can apply it to our own lives.

I could very comfortably do a part three and a part four, which would mean we would have spent well over an hour on one line of the Gemara, just to understand a little bit of this Tuma and Tara.
