should, um, criticize, like really get into like criticizing mode and start, you know, nitpicking things or picking apart other things that I wasn't doing right.
And it, it sort of turned into this whole beat down on me and how awful I was and how I couldn't get anything right and couldn't do anything right and couldn't look after them properly.
And it just, um, all that stuff sort of escalated and escalated and, As soon as she'd start with that, I'd shut down.
I wouldn't, I'd just go into shutdown mode and wouldn't have anything to say.
And that's whether they'd make it worse by, you know, me getting aggressive or I'd shut down and she would just be like, well, you're not even listening to me.
But either way, I think as men, and I know you've been through the brotherhood, so you've experienced some self-forgiveness, but I think so many of us have been trained this pattern throughout our lives.
