David MooneyHostone because so i played my last game for arsenal was the fa cup final against southampton and i didn't know it was my last game so because at the time i was on like a one-year contract so and it was good for me because i didn't know whether i wanted to retire or whatever because i was 39 at the time and um so i played that game i was captain i'd lifted the trophy and then i was on on holiday in portugal arson phoned me up so i've got an offer for you i was like okay And his first offer was like, I want you to be my number three goalkeeper.
But the fact that he wanted me to be a number three... was like a signal to me thinking, because I always thought and I always wanted to play another year, at least.
And then Man City came in for me and actually Birmingham came in for me as well because I'd charged Steve Bruce.
So then when City came in for me and it was Kevin, I spoke to Kevin and then once you speak to Kevin, you're signing.

Yeah, I was going to ask about him because there's a lot of that era of City that he's built on, basically Kevin Keegan vibes.
was the new stadium, you know, the City of Manchester Stadium, I think it was called, was that.
And then just the fact of coming up to Manchester and being back up north, as I call it.
But yeah, it was just that appeal of going into the new stadium, being, you know, like you could tell that it was going to be getting bigger and bigger.
But the draw was just to be I suppose on the blue side of Manchester as well, after having some mixed results against the red side.
