Well, I think people need to understand there are two sorts of people dealing markets.

There's people who are traders, and they will in and out in microseconds, and they can make the prices jump about.

So I'd expect to see a lot of volatility as the traders go in and out.

But then there's long-term investors who just hang in there because they've seen it all before.

I mean, it's not going to affect JB Hi-Fi or BHP or the Commonwealth Bank.

You know what I mean? I'm in a fund that's invested in Visa.

It's not going to affect Visa.

So I think people need to know that if you're in the share market, you're a holder in a big business.

And even though this can cause short-term volatility, mainly caused by trading, all you do is hang in there.

What about fuel prices? I won't affect you because you drive electric and so does Mrs.

W, but fuel prices are likely to spike, they're saying.

I've got to say Mrs. W has the best.

She's got a Lexus NXC electric hybrid.
