The sounds that you can hear.
The smells.
The taste in your mouth.
The feeling of your clothes on your skin, the temperature.
The feeling of the ground beneath you.
Using your slow, deep breath to help you allow the ground to hold you up.
Settling more and more into that support, that feeling of being held.
Taking a deep breath all the way down into the pelvis.
As you exhale, softening your shoulders, allowing your arms to feel really heavy, relaxing the jaw down the sides of the neck.
Bringing your awareness to your breath.
The rise and fall of your chest.
Any colours or visuals that you see when you imagine your breath.
The sound your breath makes when you breathe in and out.
Welcoming any sighs or yawns as a signal that your body is slowing down.
If you notice your mind wandering away, just very gently accepting this exactly as it is, noticing and then bringing it back to your breath.
