And today we're going to talk about private capital, specifically asset-backed private credit.

And joining me today is Eric Williamson, Head of Private Credit Investments at Barron & Joey Private Capital.

And I also have Eva Zilelli, Senior Fund Manager for the Barron & Joey Asset-backed Income Fund.

Eric and Eva, before we jump into today's topic, it'd be great if you could let the listeners know a bit more about your background and what your roles cover day to day.

I'll just be quick on this because I've got quite a long career, but I spend the majority of my career at National Australia Bank and senior roles in treasury, risk management, and then corporate finance.


And after that, I went on to set up my own credit fund focused on investing in asset-backed credit, which then transferred into Byron Joie late 2025, so I'm now at Bar and Joey and very happy to be here.

Well, I started my career as a chartered accountant before moving to London to work for Lehman Brothers.

My first role was leading the bank's own issuance of RMBS, so securitised mortgages, eventually progressing to the head of funding role, leading all the bank's debt capital markets issuance globally.

Then I left that role in 2024 pursuing other opportunities, including working on the fund that Eric set up, which has brought us to this point when Baron Joey took over the management rights role.

And today we're going to talk about private capital, specifically asset-backed private credit.
