I can't remember if it was, uh,
24:12
it might've been Wendy's or something like that, which would have been hilarious, but, uh, where it, it solved some, you know, extreme algorithm or something crazy or wrote, it wrote like a, uh, you know, computer, it wrote like a, you know, html script or something but uh there was some funny story out there i think going back to you know some of the things uh in terms of advice as as companies uh in particular cx leaders start to encounter this um there's also the notion you know that well if we embrace ai uh let's just automate all the different customer interactions and and that's another uh huge piece of advice i would give is uh start small first of all but not every interaction should be automated and handed to an agent.
24:56
I know that from a cost and economic standpoint, that sounds great.
24:59
But if you truly are analyzing 100% of your interactions, that's going to give you quite a bit of guidance as to what the lower impact, lower emotional touches in a customer journey that you can automate.
25:17
Think of like billing questions or scheduling, things like that.
25:21
These are low impact, easily automatable type touches.
25:25
But if it was somebody calling because their mortgage payment didn't uh, didn't process or something.

10 MINS LATER

35:12
And we're curious, what are some of your favorite tools in your tech stack empowering you and your team?
4:26
So for advisors and investors who know about corporate or real estate private credit but haven't looked closely at asset-backed credit, can you explain what asset-backed lending actually is and how it's different from other types of private lending? And Eric, I might actually flick this one to you to answer.
4:42
So essentially, corporate credit is lending against the business.
4:45
It's lending against its profit and its balance sheet.
4:49
If you look at real estate credit, it's lending against the building or a construction product.
4:54
The term asset-backed lending is really reserved when we talk about lending against a specific ring-fenced pool of financial assets, and each of those assets are relatively small in size.
5:07
So if you think of an example, think of a pool of assets of around 1,000 residential mortgages or 500,000 each, and the loan-to-value ratio on those might be about 65%.
5:20
So that's an example of an asset-backed facility.

17 MINS LATER

22:40
Over the full credit cycle, what would you say the historical performance and loss experience of asset-backed lending look like in Australia?
35:21
Who wants to go? And then like kind of how you had met Sadie and then kind of started the whole conversation about this.
35:27
uh...
35:27
this this one was actually tougher because i had a couple people crew lined up and then work started really pop it hot so people had to go back and just make the money that they lost during twenty twenty uh... it's kind of saying that happened strikes now uh...
35:42
so i had some crew members last minute dip out and then replace them so as people came and went the the flow kind of changed and i had to adapt with grip electric uh... camera Even actors, you know, there was an issue with actor availability and swapping some people out.
35:59
But with Sadie and Kyler, I mean, they were committed to the project and they carried a lot of the weight.
36:04
So we had the core there.
36:06
It was just like the small, like she said, changes every day.
36:34
That was the first time I'd experienced that.
