This week on the M&W podcast Brian and Luke review what we did that wasn't work, the latest economics news, our work of the week and the work we wished we got to but didn't.
Was there any economics news you had a chance to look at this past week? Why don't you focus on understanding the record-breaking EDRs from South Korea coming into the United States?
Yeah, I mean, and again, it's just remarkable all of the real growth that we are seeing despite, not because of, but despite policy choices where, I mean, again, just as if to illustrate, look at the, you know, pick up again in military activity or kinetic activity, I guess would be the euphemism.
And I don't think that that has any real impact right now on, certainly not on financial markets, certainly not on directly on the American economy, even if the K-shape maybe ends up widening quite a lot because of all of it.
Fed minutes showed rates are likely going up later in the year, but it's probably going to be the same kind of message all summer.
