Claude Code Became My Editor | Project Destroy Tedium 24

I just finished a video that me and my friend are making, which is going to go on shorts, TikTok reels.

And the whole thing or the majority of it is edited by AI, or at least maybe I should be more specific.

edited by Claude Code.

And it's not in the way that you think.

So basically we filmed ourselves playing a trivia game.

My friends were the ones being filmed and playing the game.

And then what AI did was essentially add a lot of the sound effects, the logos that we used for it, as well as the zooms to the people, the check marks, the Xs.

Those are the things that it edited.

It didn't like create the video necessarily in terms of like, you know, those AI slot videos.

It's not that.

This is completely different.

This is game changing because It's essentially what I would have done myself.

Just the edits of like zooming into the face and then zooming back out and then adding the keyframes and then finding the logos and then trying to like match them and then zoom out to the correct size and all that stuff.

It's like, it's so much work actually.

But with Cloud Code, I just told it what I wanted and it essentially did it for me.

Of course, there was a lot of back and forth and some adjustments, but in about maybe I would say an hour, which it still takes time, it's not like instantaneous, but now that I finally you know, got it to the point where it's good.

I think the second one and the third one, it's going to just be so fast to edit.

And it's crazy.

I really think that cloud code has now gotten to the point where it can replace editing.

It can replace editors.

And maybe, maybe I shouldn't say replace.

It can work with editors.

Editors can use it and edit so much faster with it now.

to the point where it's actually enjoyable.

I hate editing.
