For the last 400 years, Human Design says the Earth has been running through something called the Cross of Planning, the collective drive to build structure, systems, and stability: cities, schools…
It's basically the core theme of your chart and it's built from four specific gates.
And it kind of describes what you're here to do and your life's purpose in a way.
So now the interesting part is that in human design, it's not just, um, people who have a chart earth itself is said to have one as well.
So for the last 400 years or so earth has been running through something called the cross of planning.
And the cross of planning is made up of four gates, gate 37, gate 40, gate 9 and gate 16 and if you look at the themes of those gates they're about creating structure systems and stability particularly for community for family and for what human design calls the tribes So the whole theme of this cross is basically how do we build stable, lasting systems for the collective? And when you actually sit with that for a second, it kind of makes sense when you look at the last 400 years of human history.
Like if we think about it, this is roughly the era of industrialization, right? The rise of cities, the birth of modern governments and democracy, global trade, the whole infrastructure of the modern world basically got built in this window.
So schools, hospitals, banks, the entire way we've organized society and structure and systems and planning ahead.
Human design would say that's the cross of planning playing out on a civilization scale.
So think about how much of modern life is genuinely built around planning ahead.
Like we plan our careers years in advance.
We're taught that from school age we should have a five-year plan, a 10-year plan, and then we take out 30-year mortgages.
We schedule our whole lives out in calendars and diaries and apps that ping us reminders.
Even the way that we're taught to parent now is so structured.
Routines, schedules, milestones that you're supposed to hit by a certain age.
And I'm not saying that that's bad.
Structure has genuinely given us a lot.
You know, safety, predictability, systems that actually protect people.
But it is very much, you know, we need to plan and control this to make it stable energy, if that makes sense.
Um, so here's where it gets interesting for us today.
Um, human, human design says that this cross of planning is actually ending and there's an actual date attached to it.
So February 15th, 2027 is when earth is said to move out of the cross of planning and into a new cross, which is called the cross of the sleeping Phoenix.
Um, this next cross is said to run for centuries after that.
So we're talking about a genuinely massive shift.
