Today, though, I want to ask whether resilience is a skill that can actually be taught to children.

Catherine Jansen van Rensburg is fundraising manager at Bridges Retreat, which is an outdoor education program operating in the Franschhoek Valley, and they've shared with us some very interesting, uh, data on what their research is telling us about the impact of their program, particularly when it comes to developing resilience in children.

Um, so I want us to have a conversation not just about what that program looks like, but more broadly about what resilience looks like in children and what we mean by developing resilience in children, and how you even begin to measure that.
